Hi my lovelies
Last week was a bit challenging for me. Jay was away on a business trip to the US and I juggled it all back home. Add some multiple grey days of rainy weather, a nasty, stubborn, AWFUL cold, a smock full agenda, another surgery for Izzy our missy and a part time job on top of my Single Mum duties and you can only imagine what things was like around here? Oh yes. I AM SUPER WOMAN! Well, I may not have been the most cheerful at times. And yes, we had Mickey D's not just once but twice. And yes, my house looked like a bomb had gone off. But in between all the shuttle services, grocery shopping and haircuts, there were glimpses of beautiful landscape snippets from my dear and lovely Switzerland. And things got better.
Husband came home with kisses, hugs and energy. The sun snuck out of the clouds and gifted me with the most glorious sunrise one morning on my way to work. The weekend was calm and nice with woodland walks and postponed birthday celebrations. 14th of November is my birth date but on order from myself, we ignored it fully until everyone was in place, weather had changed and sickness was gone. It couldn't been more perfect.
Izzy is recovering slowly. I squeezed in a few rows on the edge of my Circle In Square blanket (THANK YOU for all your lovely comments on my Giving Birth To A Crochet Blanket analogy) and I also worked a bit on the pattern of Isak's Bunting. Now a new week commence and I'm having yet another smock full week in my agenda... But I don't mind. First of advent is coming up and I'm SOOO looking forward to getting started. It is time to let Christmas spirit sneak in to my home. YES! I've been waiting for so long.
